We have started a new BlackStudio tutorial series on YouTube. The series is designed to guide users step by step through our hyperspectral imaging software and to make working with BlackStudio easier to understand in practice.
The first episode focuses on the basics of BlackStudio and provides an introduction to the first steps before data acquisition.
In Episode 01: Basics, Antje explains how to get started with BlackStudio, how to set up the software and how to prepare the first hyperspectral data acquisition. The tutorial gives users a practical overview of the software workflow and shows how BlackStudio supports working with BlackIndustry cameras.
The episode covers topics such as:
• an overview of the Capture tab
• connecting the camera to BlackStudio
• setting up camera parameters such as frame rate, exposure and analogue gain
• preparing the camera for data acquisition
• basic calibration steps including black balance, white balance and focus
• first steps towards acquiring hyperspectral data
With this tutorial series, we want to provide practical support for users who are new to BlackStudio as well as for customers who want to better understand specific software features.
Further episodes of the BlackStudio tutorial series will follow and will explain additional software functions and workflows step by step.
