HAIP Solutions BlackIndustry NIR camera is a smart line scanning (pushbroom) near-infrared hyperspectral imaging camera that allows the acquisition of real-time spectral data with very high spatial resolution. If you need external lighting, BlackIndustry is optimised for combined use with the BlackBright VNIR LED bar illumination.
Outstanding Sensitivity
The outstanding sensitivity in the NIR range from 700 nm to 1050 nm is perfect for the use in industrial in-line applications. With a frame rate of 540 Hz at full frame and up to 1000 Hz at ROI, the sensor is suitable for high conveyor belt speeds, ideal for sorting applications.
Easy to use
Combining superior optical design with advanced holographic transmission grating technology, highend electronics and a sensitive CMOS detector, BlackIndustry camera is an ideal tool for demanding environments. A special rugged housing is also available.
Individual pre-processing
Data pre-processing on camera is possible, as the camera has an integrated GPU (Nvidia Jetson). All BlackIndustry series cameras are controllable via HAIP BlackStudio software, GenICam or a dedicated C++/Python API. Code samples available upon request.

Combined technology
Illumination
The BlackBright VNIR LED Bar has been developed specifically for the combined use with the BlackIndustry NIR camera. This broadband led illumination unit generates a homogeneous light distribution enabling very precise imaging in the spectral range 430 – 1050 nm.
BlackStudio is the powerful software behind the BlackIndustry camera series, included free of charge with every BlackIndustry camera purchase. It is designed for seamless integration and maximum flexibility with our hyperspectral cameras. Whether in the food industry, recycling industry or any other optical sorting application – BlackStudio delivers precise control, real-time data acquisition and advanced analysis tools tailored to your needs.

On-Camera Classifier
Our BlackIndustry cameras with software version 1.0.13 and later, now feature an on-camera classifier. The previously in BlackStudio trained classifier can be transferred directly to the camera, enabling real-time classification of newly captured data using the Classified Color output mode. This allows classification results to be used immediately in production without additional hardware. By transmitting only classified data, the feature reduces Ethernet bandwidth usage and eliminates processing overhead on the receiving device, ensuring efficient and streamlined operations.

By implementing the GenICam standard, data captured by HAIP products can be seamlessly received and utilised by MVTec’s software products.
