New White Paper: Plastic Sorting with
Hyperspectral Imaging

We are excited to announce the publication of our latest white paper: „Plastic Sorting with Hyperspectral Imaging“! It looks at the application of hyperspectral imaging for efficient and accurate plastic sorting and highlights the functionality of our BlackIndustry SWIR 1.7 Max and BlackIndustry NIR cameras, covering the wavelength ranges from 900-1730 nm and 700-1050 nm.
The white paper highlights the need for advanced sorting technologies in plastic recycling, showcasing how hyperspectral imaging improves sorting accuracy and efficiency. Paired with the cameras’ high spatial resolution, high frame rate and affordability, the setup and results of using these cameras in the sorting of plastics are described and demonstrated by real-life applications.
